Did anybody hear back from RPI yet? (the deadline was november 1st)

yeah im guessing that you get the supplement as they review your application and it will culminate sometime in january

i hope so, b/c there are quite a few very qualified applicants who haven't gotten an app (yet)....and i don't think that it has to do if yer in ny or nj, because i'm from nj and i've heard absolutely nothing

any news on this guys? I didn't do the supplement because I've made a college choice...but I was just wondering if you guys managed to get some type of notification.

What choice was that Tangy?

(From RPI: I called...they're doing batches...not finished yet!)

That's good news. My cousin also applied to RPI so I'm hoping he'll continue. I'm going to attend Neoucom's bs/md program.

You got in? CONGRATS!

This is odd--I haven't received a single message from RPI. Wouldn't they at least tell you if you get rejected?

Edit: Whoops- gotta read the whole thread before replying.

if getasnowjob hasn't gotten an app yet, i'm not worried anymore...snowjob, its chyeah, not geah up here in the uh dirty north of new jersey....haha happy holidays everybody

Thanks Aspen.

I'm a first year AMC student from the RPI program. Feel free to ask any questions. Also, interviews start January 8th (first batch) and end in April 13th with two or something a week till that time. So if you haven't heard back yet, no worries. Gluck.

hey gangsta...im applying to this program. I submitted the supplemental application on Dec. 21st....do u know when the interviews should start coming in? Also, how much do interviews affect admission? Do scores still matter after the interview?

You're definitely one of the earlier candidates, but how they go about picking the applicants for interview I'm not so sure about. The interview is VERY important in the selection process and the grades/scores still matter a bit. What they do after they interview the applicant is they rank each of the candidates based on both the academic qualifications and interview skills. They then decide together which candidates should be accepted.

Thanks gangsta....btw, is there anyway i could contact you about a more personally specific question (could u pm me your email address)? I just had a few more questions that i wanted to ask.
