well the title gives everything away.
I heard that they come in waves in the month of march (this month)
and i'm starting to get slightly anxious since it's the 4th -_-;;

But anyhow, any idea when they will send the first wave of letters for th admission for fall 2011?

A couple of posters who went on the USC tours in January reported that the admissions representative mentioned that USC may not use the “wave” notifications this year. They indicated that there may be one batch sent in late March around the 20th. As we have had no posts of acceptances on the USC forum [University of Southern California - College Confidential](University of Southern California - College Confidential Forums) since the late January wave, it looks as though that might be accurate.

Good luck!

Well, I think it’s a bit early for them to be arriving just yet. I’ve received e-mail confirmations that I’ve been admitted into a couple of universities (and I am expecting 4-5 more) but the actual DHC mail hasn’t arrived yet. I believe it will take another week or two at the very least.

Damn, I am sooo sooo nervous…I keep checking my e-mail every 15-20 mins. I feel like a total freak.

turbo, we are all nervous, and I don’t know how I can survive the next 3 weeks …
I need a new heart !!!

A note: For USC, all notifications will be by snail mail. The DHL email is a clue that a package might be on its way that applies only to International applicants. Domestic applicants will not receive an email.

The arrival of the first DHL for an International, however, has been an indication that a wave of notifications (domestic AND International) have been sent - so USC applicants get very excited about them. Be sure to post on the USC forum (link in post #2) if you get one!
