Did anyone take ALL the AP"s available in there school? (possible??)

We vary from year to year.

So far in my 4 years, the school has offered:
AP Environmental Science
AP Literature & Composition
AP Biology
AP Statistics
AP Calculus AB
AP United States History
AP World History
AP Physics B (through online course)

I studied all of them and more through online classes and self-studies.

^ Mr Wheezy, could I ask which site you use for online classes? Sounds interesting

My school has like 25 AP classes to choose from, but you can only take 1 AP sophomore year, so I’m not really sure how that works out…

I might be able to take all of our AP classes by the time I graduate. Let’s see:

AP US History- taken
AP Calculus AB- taking currently
AP Chemistry- taking currently
AP Psychology- taking currently
AP Stats- Next year, most likely
AP English Lit- next year as well
AP Studio Art- may take next year

I guess it depends on whether Stats, English, and Studio Art will fit into my schedule next year. I plan on taking classes at the nearby university so I’m not sure what’s going down yet.

My school doesn’t have very many AP classes (7, I think). I’ve taken all of them except for AP Statistics and AP Art Studio 2.

My school has 13 APs (more if you count arts), 3 of which are Languages (Latin, French, Spanish). Usually there’s 1 person every year who does them all (minus 2 of the languages).

Im taking 13 APs total, which is 50%

AP Euro
AP Us
AP Chem
AP Calc
AP Spanish Lang
AP English Lang and Comp
AP Micro
AP Macro
AP Bio
AP Stat
AP Spanish Lit
AP English Lit
AP Studio Art

I’ve been lurking around here for a bit before registering and I’d have to agree with the superhuman factors. Perhaps some people are exaggerating because of low self esteem of their actual grades.

I am proud to say I have taken 3 APs so far and if schedule-willing, will take 2 APs this year for a total of 5. I will also take the psychology AP, since my school offers psychology but not in an AP format.

My school offers all APs except languages and psychology, and to be honest, while I get that some schools have more funding than others, I doubt that most universities would penalize you for scheduling conflicts and lack of availability.

My school:

AP Calc AB
AP Calc BC
AP Chemistry
AP Bio
AP Spanish
AP French
AP Lang and Comp
AP Brit Lit
AP Multi Lit
AP Stats
AP Art Studio
AP Physics C
AP Physics C and something else (the other one whatever it’s called, our school doesn’t have B)
AP Psych
AP Government
AP US History
AP Euro History
AP Music Theory

This year (junior year) I’m only taking AP Chem, and IDK what I’m taking next year besides AP Calc BC, AP Spanish, and probably AP Physics C (the shorter one.)

There are 12 AP classes at my school that are actual classes. The thirteenth (BC Calc) is a guided independent study kind of thing or something. It’s confusing. Anyways we have: AP Chem, AP Physics (don’t know which one), AP Bio, AP Studio Art, AP US Gov, AP MacroEcon, AP Euro History, APUSH, AP Language, AP Literature, AP Calc AB, AP Calc BC, AP Stats. I’m taking two this year and took two last year. That’s enough for me.

My school only has a handful. I don’t think it is possible though because to take ones like calc, chem, and lit you have to have taken all the respective honors classes. The honors classes cover extra material.
Spanish
Calc
APUSH
APHG
AP World
AP lit
AP Chem

Not at ours, we have like 13 or 14 and 3 usually don’t have enough interest to offer. Plus you can only take 1 your sophomore year and we only have 5 slots a day, so no.

APs offered by my school:
AP Art History - 5
AP Biology
AP Calculus AB
AP Calculus BC - senior year
AP Chemistry - 4
AP Chinese
AP Comparative Government - senior year
AP English Language - senior year
AP English Literature
AP Environmental Science - 5
AP European History - 5
AP French
AP Latin
AP Music Theory
AP Physics B
AP Physics C - Electricity and Magnetism - senior year
AP Physics C - Mechanics - senior year
AP Psychology - 5
AP Spanish Language - 4
AP Spanish Literature
AP Statistics - senior year
AP Studio Art
AP U.S. History - 5
AP World History - senior year

APs not offered by my school:
AP German
AP Japanese
AP Macroeconomics - 5
AP Microeconomics - 5
AP Russian
AP U.S. Government

When I graduate I’ll have taken 14/24 APs offered at my school. If I were to exclude AP languages (minus both Spanish) + AP Physics B (skipped) + AP Calculus AB (skipped) it’ll be 14/19. Overall by the end of high school I would have taken 16 out of the total 30 APs. I’ll be relaxing in college. :D

^ Nice self studying AvidStudent. I’m trying to do that this year.

Btw, if you have the time, could you explain or link me a site that describes how AP credit work? Do all the AP subjects give generic credits so you can take courses in college? Thanks mate, looking forward to your replay

^Depends on the college: some offer credit, place you of classes, or don’t accept certain APs. It also depends on your major. Check the colleges you’re looking into/applying to for more information.

@misteranthony:

Our school use K-12 ([K12: Online Public School, Online High School, Online Private School, Homeschooling, and Online Courses options](http://www.k12.com/)). For AP Physics B, our school will pay for the tuition. But for Chemistry, I pay.

Normally, I would just self-study the courses myself as I have done previously, but it’s my senior year and I want the classes to show up on my transcript.

Mr Wheezy,

Are the online courses similar to summer courses at a local college? I doubt my school would use/give credit for that, but thanks anyways. I’ll try to self study and see if that’ll work out :)
