<p>Um... this is a really dumb question, but did you have to apply SPECIFICALLY for the scholarships when u applied to USC, or are you automatically entered to compete for them?</p>

<p>You are automatically entered if you applied by the deadline. A scholarship letter will come separately from the packet.</p>

<p>I think you did get a scholarship--or at least I think you're a finalist. I got my Presidential invitation on Feb 5 (it was dated Jan 27). But that dioesn't mean I get the scholarship, there's an interview process involved to see who will be awarded the scholarships (By the way the postmrk deadline for applying to be considered for the scholarships was Dec 10)</p>

and the admissions office is closed over the weekend, so i'm guessing you meant monday,2/6.</p>

<p>I think you can log on to the USC admissions status site using your pin # to see if you have been invited to interview for a scholarship.</p>
