Recently checked my portal and it says Decision Pending but I also got an alert to submit tax info so that they can give me a finAid package. Is this a good sign?? Or do they ask everyone to submit financial info before getting accepted?

Admissions and the financial aid office are separate so you cannot infer anything at this point. However, it would not make sense to ask for more FA documentation if they plan to reject you.
