So I did part I of the duke application on their website and then submitted the common app to duke online. Now I learn that they dont accept the common app online but all my teacher recs and stuff I sent to Duke are for the common app. Should I just do part II on their website too or have I already messed up too much?

What do you mean they don't accept the common app online? I did that too....? They're registered with commonapp.org and last time I checked, if you hit "apply online" on their website, they refer you to www.commonapp.org!

edit: and also, all the teacher recommendation forms for every college are exactly the same as the common app one...and I know for a fact that most colleges will accept a letter alone, even without the forms...so I don't think that's gonna be a problem.

Well I was just looking through this app Duke sent me and the paper Common APP supplement says "Please Note: Duke DOES NOT accept the Common Application Online"
plus i got an e-mail today saying i still need to submit part II of my app

I believe Duke changed their policy. The Duke admissions officer who came to our school said she was really pushing for Duke to accept the Common App and supplement online, and I think they did accept it this year.

Joey

hmm ok maybe i will just send them part II also since I have already done it all except for the why duke thing which is pretty easy.

If you used commonapp.org, there's a section with the supplements of all your schools...you can submit THAT online too!
