<p>I am the mom of a graduating senior who mostly lurks on CC.<br>
My daddy graduated from Mizzou many years ago, in journalism. He worked at a couple of papers early on and then bought his own papers in north Alabama and ran them for about 25 years and then was able to retire at the ripe old age of 49! He and my mother have now lived on that investment since 1978! Good luck to you at Mizzou - my daddy still goes back occasionally for reunions and still keeps in touch with college buddies.</p>
