Did you receive AP scores?

Nothing in Florida yet.

Nothing in NY…probably going to be the last ones to find out anything.

Here are some informational links:

Hope this helps!

Yeah, NY gets them last. :(

Yeah - Houston is still waiting!

nothing yet in Michigan

If you are waiting by snail mailbox it is worth blowing the $8 and simply calling with the id number. How much is your emotional energy worth?

getdata - not really worth it. DS most likely won’t be taking any credits earned from these scores. He’s just curious, not anxious.

I already know which ones I got credit for. My college has them up already. But I do want to know my exact scores. Just to see.

Ds was able to look up this year’s scores on his college website. If you have a rising freshman, you could try that.

“DS most likely won’t be taking any credits earned from these scores. He’s just curious, not anxious.”

Here too…DS will take Calculus in college regardless. The A&M ChemE curriculum has so few “electives” that he may be leaving some others on the table. It’s not like he spent time studying for the APs, so just a waste of some dollars.

My S can’t use the Calc credit for the program he is in, so I was going to let him skip the test to save some money (he had plenty of other AP tests I had to pay for!). However, his calc teacher told them that if they take the exam, they wouldn’t have to take a final … no exam, there would be a comprehensive final. I spent a bunch of money to save my kid’s sanity at the end of senior year!

No scores in Michigan yet.

kelsmom…I know the feeling.

My son could exempt the exam with or without taking the AP exam. But…they had to study for a practice exam that counted as a test grade…and he figured if he had to study for the practice exam - he might as well take the real one! ]

Similar deal for Physics.

Yup - got 'em in the mail today - Arizona!

Got em today! Central Texas! 5s!!!

^Congrats! :)

No word yet-East Coast.

Some people are looking up scores on the college website. How is that done?

At my son’s HS, if you don’t take the AP exam, then you lose the extra weighting (locally it is a 2 point grade boost for some of the APs like Calc/Chem/Bio/Eng and 1 point for Human Geo/Psych). They actually go back and change the grades, which would def. affect class rank. Everyone takes the exam (sick or not) to get the weighting.

burry, at some schools students have a password and a link where they can pay bills, register, get college email for students only, etc. There might be a place that has standardized test scores and high school information. Perhaps AP scores can be viewed there.
