Sorry, f201. The competition at Indiana is fierce this year. Do you have some other possibilities?
Not really. I'm thinking IUPUI or Ivy Tech, and transferring somewhere after a year. How far do you think some good college grades and my SAT score would get me?

edit: some additional info:
My senior year grades are a lot better, so I've got a little bit of an upward trend. I'm also a National Merit Semifinalist, and I'll have 10 AP's done after this year, all 4's and 5's.

If you are planning on transferring, there's a few things you should know about IUPUI vs Ivy Tech (you probably already know this). While IUPUI has a larger tuition bill than Ivy Tech, you are potentially paying for a big benefit. Your IUPUI grades will transfer over to other IUB, whereas Ivy Tech only the credit will transfer. While the common thought is to go where it is cheapest and most convenient (Ivy Tech), you could essentially go to IUPUI, do really well, and then go to IUB and that grade point will carry over so you are starting with a safety net if you happened to not do as well as you wanted at IUB.

Based upon that, your GPA was a 3.2 unweighted (unless you live in Canada). If you live in Cananda, then it would be higher--like about a 3.5 to 3.6

I'm definitely leaning towards IUPUI. However, I'm still worried about the D's on my transcript being an obstacle to admission there.
