I took two of the Kaplan book subject tests and keep getting around a 630-650 in Spanish SAT II... should I expect higher or lower than that on the actual exam? The curve seems pretty harsh...

definitely higher

i was scoring about the same range and I ended up with a 700.

For me, the difference was in the reading comprehension. I had trouble with Kaplan's passages but the real ones were much shorter and easier. So, I would do alot of them so the read thing is easier.

Good luck.

Really? That's exciting. I just took another test after studying a bit more and got a 710 :)

The Kaplan reading comprehension is brutal compared to the Princeton Review's. I'm hoping the actual test is more like PR's.
