Difficulty of Schedule

My schedule for Spring 2009 is currently unset and I want to get an idea of how difficult it can be. Here are the classes I will try to take, but I don't know if the courseload is too heavy:

CHEM 3A/3AL (Frechet)
E7 (Rector)
MATH 1B (Borcherds)
PHYSICS 7A (Zettl)
and a one unit seminar

Total 18 units

I am wondering if I should drop Physics 7A and take that over the summer or drop E7 and take that in the fall. If I were to drop a class, I am also wondering if I should take Rhetoric R1B (Carpenter) instead or should I just have 14 units this semester.

Last semester, I took 17 units:

MATH 1A with Olsson (A-)
CHEM 1A (A)
BioE 10 (A-)
Rhetoric R1A with Barnes (A)
and a one unit seminar which I passed.

I felt last semester was fairly low stress for me and I had plenty of free time to join clubs and hang out with my roommates. However, I've heard that Physics 7A and Chem 3A are especially tough classes and I wonder if its a good idea to take them at the same time. I was also told though that there will come a time in my academic career where I would have to take two if not more tough classes at the same time so I should just take the plunge now. So should I keep my schedule as is, drop a class and replace it with a (hopefully) lighter humanities, drop a class and stay with 14 units, or are there other strategies for scheduling? Thanks for your input!

Take a ethnic R1/5B instead of Rhetoric and Physics.
