Dilemma: EA Accepted wishing to transfer schools

Hi all,

I applied to Georgetown and was accepted, EA to the college (government). However, upon completion of both my AP Comparative Government and AP US Government courses I have come to realize that I prefer the former much more than the latter.

I have done a bit of research and additional factors which appeal to me include the fluency in a third language as well as the much heavier focus on international politics.

My dilemma is that I've applied and been accepted to Georgetown college; however, I wish to transfer instead to SFS. Is this at all possible? If so, what should I do and who should I get in touch with?

Thanks

When I interviewed my interviewer (a very recent grad) said it was very easy to switch colleges especially if you did it before school starts this fall. I talked to someone at a reception and she had recently transferred from the college to MSB and said the process very simple (just met with the deans and wrote a paragraph) and she was a sophomore. So it is very possible, maybe just contact admissions? I think it is only difficult when people miss certain classes you have to take as a freshman. Good luck! I will see you in SFS next year.

Hec,

Thanks for the information. I'll contact the admissions office asap. Hopefully everything works out! :)
