<p>How does work in the dining hall(s) compare to other work study jobs on campus? It would be great if anyone knew from personal experience or possibly had a friend who has worked there</p>
<p>I didn’t work while at school (I’m a rising sophomore), but the kids on work study who worked in the dining halls served us our food. Like they stood behind the counter and put the food on a plate. Personally i thought it was kind of awkward to have kids who you know/see around campus, plate up your food. However, I don’t know if the feelings were mutual. But the kids who worked in the bookstore or elsewhere, it seemed pretty relaxed as if it was just a normal job. Overall I dont think there’s any difference in the jobs other than potentially (maybe nonexistent) awkward encounters or feelings.</p>
