<p>Today I got two envelopes from Purdue's Krannert School of Management that said I am a direct admit, but I have no idea what that really means. I know it is a good thing but what is the purpose of being a direct admit? I can take upperclassmen courses as a freshmen? </p>

<p>Purdue basically requires regular students to apply to the business school after being admitted to Purdue and after a couple semesters at Purdue. But, since you’re a direct admit student, you won’t have to apply to the business school. You’ve already been admitted. </p>
