disappointed

I know it's too late now, but I sent everything by mail and just included a pre-addressed post card to have sent back to me when they got the package. This way I was sure everything was together and that it all got there.
Got the post card back and no worrying.

I hope everything works out for all of you though-- I really had no problems with Pomona admissions. Everyone I met in admissions was very nice (maybe this just happened to be the the people I got) and I actually enjoyed my tour guide as well. Good luck to all of you ED2 and RD people!

Thank you for telling me what to look for. As it turns out, my son HAD received the email on Feb. 7th. He claims he told me, but I sure don't remember it. Luckily, they show that everything has been received except the 7th semester transcript.

Hindoo - best of luck with your missing documents.

We've experienced a certain amount of "prickly-ness" too. It was the only interview my son found intimidating, parts of the library were inaccessible, when I've called with questions, I've gotten bad connections, etc. He did e-mail someone fairly recently because he was concerned they hadn't downloaded his supplement yet and he got a nice reply back saying not to worry. I know it's a great school and I hear it's very well-run in other ways, but it sounds like admissions may not be one of them.

When you are a prestigious college/university, apparently customer service goes out the window. Pomona College is boring in any case :-).
