Is it worth going? I've been on a tour before, and of course I will take any excuse to come visit, but how was it? Did you bring a parents? If I bring my mom, will I look out of place? Do you stay with your parents during the whole event?
Thanks!

It is TOTALLY worth going to. When I went last year, it just solidified everything and I knew right away Chapman was my number one school over everything else! I liked it better than just going oN the tour. The students were very helpful and nice and each department had it’s own seperate introductory and question and answer session. It was really great because I am a graphic design major and knew nothing about Chapmans program at the time. It was great to meet the professors and students and it made me feel like their program was the one I wanted to be at! (I signed up ahead of time to have my art portfolio interview that day after discover chapman day was over. The head of the art department was there along with the head graphic design professor, and both remembered me from the graphic design sessions! I highly recommend introducing yourself to anyone you can from your interested department and your regional admissions officer. It will definitely be in your benefit when they start making application decisions).

About bringing parents, yes you should bring your mom. Everyone had their parents with them including myself. They come with you to the sessions. I think you would fel extremly out of place if your parents aren’t there. It’s as much for them as it is for you. I already knew I wanted to go to chapman, but my dad hadn’t been to the campus since it was called Chapman College, so it was the greatest opportunity to learn more about the school, it’s programs, and finances.

I was very pleased with the event, and I definetly recommend going. :)

Awesome!
Thank you so much! Can’t wait!
