<p>I thought that Discover was one source of Stafford Loans without fees. I recently looked at their website, and it now appears that they are charging fees on their loans.</p>

<p>I’ve never heard of Stafford loans without fees. I do know that for at least the last 2 years, Discover has been charging the same origination and default fees as all the other lenders (NelNet, Chase, Citibank, Wells Fargo, etc.)</p>
