Do you need to bring any kind of identification? Yes I know it's a bit late to be asking this (I'm going on the April 7th one), but it should be an easy answer to someone who has done this before.

I doubt it because for all the colleges I have visited on their special freshman days they didnt ask for ID. Just bring a license/school ID/residence card just in case though if you’d like to be secure

I’m going to discover day on April 20! Can you explain what you do there/if it’s useful?

Hey guys, I was at Discover UCI today and there was not even a place to sign in. Just go to the student center upon arrival and find the presentation on your major. Lots of fun and it completely answered all my questions :)

So do you think it would be fine to bring as much people as I want? Haha, I have a big family :)

@shewwane
I was gonna bring all my friends too! But I think they limit it to 2 guests (not including yourself)

Went with D yesterday.

No ID is needed. Just tell them your name at arrival in the morning session. They do serve continental breakfast during the welcome speech.

If you are late, just go to student center and attend the session you chose. No one will ask you any question.

Academic session is the most valuable if you haven’t decided to enroll. It gives you all the opportunities to ask question and understand the major. We went to the Business school session, it was overcrowded and they asked those who are not admitted to business major to leave. I guessed a lot of people are interested to transf. to this school.

Well, I called and asked about the limit on guests and the person who I was talking to didn’t even realize there was a limit! I’m sure I could bring maybe a few over the number of guests the UCI Discover page “allows”. I mean, are they really going to turn us down when we drove all the way there? I don’t think so ;)

I saw some students brought their whole family with younger silbings as young as 4-5 yrs. old. I don’t think the school would mind as long as they are not disturbing the sessions.

Yet most of the students just went with parents.

cool I might just bring more people then!
