<p>Having seen many posts on this thread I am quite convinced that Alabama is a good school, has a great atmosphere and attracts great kids. But how about premed education? Do top 10 ( I emphasize top 10 ) medical schools view Alabama premeds favorably?</p>
<p>I’m not sure which med schools are currently Top 10…especially since there are TWO ranking systems on US News for med schools.</p>
<p>That said, Bama does have students at Ivy SOMs. If those are Top 10 in one of the rankings, then there you go. </p>
<p>BTW…don’t know what the obsession would be with Top 10 SOMs…absolutely meaningless.</p>
