I have been trying to look it up, but I can’t seem to find it. Maybe I am not looking in the right place? If some of the Honors courses fulfill the requirement, which classes would you recommend?
I’m pretty sure that there are not any honors courses that fulfill the composition requirement, but you could get on the Hutton website and email somebody to confirm.
Assuming you're an Honors student since you asked about Honors courses, I'm a little surprised you've not met this requirement already. You can also meet it one of the following ways:
SAT Critical Reading score of 670 or higher; or
ACT English score of 32 or higher; or
AP Program English: Composition and Literature score of 4 or 5; or
AP Program English: Language and Composition score of 4 or 5.
This link indicates which courses meet the requirement. http://bulletins.iu.edu/iub/general-education/2015-2016/requirements/index.shtml
When you register you need to take one of the above courses or another course that indicates in the schedule it meets the requirement. There may or may not be Honors versions of these courses. My guess is not as many Honors students meet the requirement through an SAT, AP or ACT score.
