Nope....4 APs and Honors Physics is a good schedule.

i was just hoping they wouldnt get all suspicious if they see that i am taking two class periods off. im going to get a job so i guess thats a good reason.

if you include that you got a job or internshiup as summplemental info it shouldnt hurt you a drop. Its seen as taking an initiative. they will care if your not taking other challenginng classes which your school offers in place of a job. consider writing about why you want a job kinda cheesy but itll help

I agree with the above posters.

Just as a sidenote, why are you in both Calc AB and BC?

i have 5 APs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

eww, im dropping physics!

yeah physics sucks

ya i hate physics lol, im taking it in addtion to 4 AP classes

Why on earth would you take Calc AB and Calc BC at the same time? That is the most obvious case of grade inflation I have ever seen. You cover everything in Calc AB in Calc BC, so taking them both would be redundant.

well what my teacher said was that if i take and pass the calc ab+bc AP exam it will give me credit for calc I and II at the univ. that i want to go to whereas just taking the ab class will give me credit for one college level calc class. i havent enrolled in the class yet but i was planning on it since my major requires those math classes and it would be a smart move to get that credit.

Your teacher isn't very smart. The Calc BC class covers everything done in Calc AB. If you pass the Calc BC AP test you get credit for both Calc I and Calc II. You don't need to take the Calc AB also, thats just redundant. If take the Calc AB AP test you can only get credit for Calc I. Personally, I think it looks bad if you take Calc AB and BC in the same year. It would look like you are taking intro to marketing and marketing in the same year, which makes no sense. If you could do marketing there is no reason to take intro.

By the way, Calc BC and Calc AB are mutually exclusive. You don't need to take one to take the other.

your teacher is a dumbasss u get an AB subscore when u take the BC test

ok no need for the name-calling. im taking calc bc as a zero period class for just one semester to go over any material that my teacher doesnt cover in our regular calc ab class. i want to get credit for calc I and II and taking that zero period class is the only way that i will be able to do that since my school doesnt offer a full year of calc bc.

At my sons school, he has to take both Calc AB and then Calc BC

same at my school - we generally are required to take AB then BC, but never BOTH at the same time. some students who are up for the challenge can skip AB and go straight to BC.

both ab and bc at the same time will raise eyebrows in the admissions office.

in a bad way or a good way...?
