Do colleges really cover the demonstrated need of accepted students?

There are colleges which claim that they meet the full demonstrated financial need of all accepted students.Does this really happen?

Yes. Whether it is through grants, work study or loans (depending on which school), if the schools say they meet full demonstrated need, they meet full demonstrated need.

If the website states that they will meet the full demonstrated need, they will do so. Of course your eligibility would be verified using the CSS profile.

It depends… The school can define what “demonstrated need” is. My daughter was accepted at one of these schools and they definitely DID NOT meet our needs. They expected us to pay almost $50k/year. My suggestion… apply where they give merit aid. There are some great schools that will give scholarship money and financial aid

Can you list some of these schools?
