I have a 4.54 UC GPA weighted with cc courses. However, my UC GPA is only 4.35 without community courses. How do colleges, in participating the UCs, view community classes taken outside of highschool. Are they consider equivalent to AP, honors, or reqular? Lastly, should I consider my “true” UC GPA closer to 4.54 with the cc courses or 4.35 and count the cc courses as a bonus? By the way a few courses I have taken include astronomy, psychology, us history, stats, and government.

Transferable college courses get the +1 point, like AP and some other honors courses, when calculating GPA for UC and CSU.
However, the weighted-capped version of UC and CSU GPA limits you to counting up to 8 +1 points for honors, AP, and college courses.
