This is a question for recent cornell grad. I'm starting my senior yr at Cornell and I always thought that my diploma would say, "Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations" because that's my major. And if someone was in the hotel school it would say "Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration." But after looking at this picture I noticed that your major (or school) isn't listed on your diploma. Has this changed in recent years? Just wondering.

Your diploma will not list your major. The only reference to my college is at the bottom where the dean's signature is. My major's department also included a certificate of completion with our diploma...not sure if other colleges/departments do something like this.

I've seen a bachelors diploma from the class of '60, and it just said Bachelor of Arts (from CAS), and his masters from a few years later said masters of arts, so it has probably always been that way. It looked pretty much identical to that picture.

oh, that's dumb! It should say it :(!

Maybe it's different for ILR and Hotel because there's only one bachelor's degree that can be earned through each school.

nah.. all diplomas pretty much look the same. All say Cornell and Bachelors of Science/Arts and then have your deans signature. It lists latin honors if you get that, but there is no mention of major whatsoever.
