Do current USF students like the school?

I'm seriously thinking about attending USF and keep seeing mixed feeling about the school.

Do you feel like you've really had the college experience?

Also, I heard USF is in a bad area, how bad is it?

The quality of the school and school spirit?

Is the cost of living alot?(food, apartment, everyday spending)

Is the town fun?

Thanks any other input would be greatly appreciated!

USF offers pretty much anything a college student could ask for, and provides a full college experience. USF is situated on a 2000 acre parklike campus nestled in a corner of a large metropolitan area. There is no more crime or bad stuff occuring at or near USF than other large universities. USF is a quality, established research university that is selective in admitting freshmen applicants evidenced by the fact that it rejects most applicants seeking admission. Recent successes and growth of its athletic teams, and increased numbers of students living on and near campus have increased the level of school spirit and pride. Costs of attending public state supported USF are reasonable and comparable to other Florida universities. The Tampa Bay area is fun, that’s why 3.5 million people call it home. What’s not to like! Go BULLS!
