Do dual credit courses look good on a transcript?

More specifically: do dual credit courses look good to colleges that won’t accept them?
This year I decided to enroll in my school’s new dual enrollment (or, concurrent enrollment), and I was told that should I pass all the classes I could get my associate’s degree by the time I graduate high school. This was an exciting idea to me and I figured it would really help financially in college but, recently I realized that my many of ideal colleges won’t accept dual enrollment classes as valid college credit.
Now I’m worried that I’m just shouldering a lot of extra work for no benefits, but it’d be pretty hard to drop out of the classes. So, do the classes at least look impressive to colleges? Also, I’d love to hear from anyone who has been enrolled in dual credit/is currently enrolled in them! Thanks so much for any help!

These are classified as rigorous classes, so yes, they do improve your record.

Also, considering that you don’t know yet where you be admitted, and which of those places will actually be affordable, it is possible that you could end up somewhere that those credits would be useful.

Okay good to know, thank you!
