Do nice, studious, kids go to Marist. Kids that care about their education and were active in high school. Does your typical Honors/AP kid go to Marist?

Is there any connection with Vassar at all, do the Vassar kids snub the Marist kids, is there any interaction between the students, any intercampus courses?

That’s a difficult question to answer since every kid will get their own impression of their class mates/dorm mates. My D liked her tour of Marist and the people we encountered, enough so that she is applying there (along with 6 other schools) We also visited Vassar, neither school mentioned the other. They seemed very different to me and not all that close to each other in terms of physical distance. Although had to take a detour going from one school to the other, so maybe they are closer than I think. Both campuses were very nice.

A young mand who works for us in the summer is currently a senior at Marist. I would say that he was not only hard working, AP/ NHS student in high school , but very involved with various ECs . Anyone who knows him would definately describe him as a " good kid "
