<p>Obviously grades matter. The problem is when people assume that grades is all that matters.</p>
<p>If you keep a healthy mix of A’s and B’s you should be good. Getting B’s isn’t exactly hard to do in college either…</p>
<p>Grades do matter, but they tend to matter less over time. They do matter quite a bit, particularly when applying to graduate school and for the first few jobs that come along. But as soon as you start building substantial amounts of work experience, then the weight of a college GPA drops over time.</p>
