do have to take physics to get into a uc or csu?

I was wondering do you have to take physics to get into a uc or csu? or will not taking physics affect my chances of getting into a university?

9th- bio
10th- ap bio
11th- chemistry
12- physiology

You do NOT want your first Physics class to be in a University setting. It will kill you. It might not be required in high school for a UC applicant, but it is definitely recommended. If you want to go to nursing school, then that would be the only time Physiology would be an acceptable path. You will be doing yourself a disservice if your planned major has anything to do with STEM or medicine. Many colleges outside of the ones you mentioned want a year from each of the main sciences (bio, physics, chem) minimum. You’ll be at a disadvantage when compared to other applicants.
