Do i even have a chance for SCEA?

<p>Well, my parents are suggesting the local Texas state school as my firsy option, but i tend to disagree. So, do my stats's seem reasonable for "Stanford" standards?</p>

<p>Stanford gives out huge amounts of financial aid...those from families who make less than 45k a year pay nothing...yeah, its worth applying</p>

<p>ALso is it better to apply early here or RD b/c i have been hearing mixed things on this thread??? Are there any advantages for out-of-state students b/c i was told stanford reserves a majority of the spots for Californinan residents....</p>

<p>Stanford does not "reserve" any spots for Californians. The number of Californians there just reflects the applicant pool.</p>

<p>If Stanford is your first choice, apply early.</p>
