Do I have a chance anywhere?

never hurts to apply!

well yea, but do i have a realistic shot at any program?

Your stats mostly determine if you get an interview.

Unless you can raise your SAT or ACT, you can start praying to God.

you are on target for these good BA/MD Programs: university of kansas-missouri, st. louis university, university of miami, drexel, lehigh, stony brook, temple, michigan state. Since you are from illinios you have an advantage if u apply to Northwestern even though it is near impossible to get in, and you have an ok shot at University of Chicago's program. If you want a saftey program, the University of South Florida has in interesting BA/MD Program!

what program is at u of c? Is there an alternate listing of programs aside from the aamc one?

Buckwald:

Are you referring to University of Illinois-Chicago BS/MD program.

From what I know, UChicago does not have a BS/MD program.

Yep, UIC. my bad. thanks for clarifying mitodnaman!

X12287 How did u get these if you will:

American Cancer Society Intern: Researched BRCA2 and its role in Breast Cancer at UIC molecular biology lab for one summer (320 hours)
Participated in NWU's Health Profession Recruitment and Exposure Program (8 weeks, 1 hr a week)

This is really awesome!

well i like to apply everywhere. Its an obsession that I have. I also know that I wud never be able to manage the things, if accepted. Then pick and chose. I had a choice of attending harvard or doing the ACS internship. I decided to do research. I was an amazing experience and I would never think twice again. Just stay in touch with ur counselor, be her best friend. Plus, I visited her very often just to talk.

For what? What major are you going for?
