Hi ! I’m going to be a Senior this year. I have a 4.3 weighted gpa and a 3.8 weighted gpa. I scored 1110 on the new SAT, which is out of 1600. I’m in Art appreciation club, National Honors society club. I did debate my sophomore year. I’m President of the endangered species club. I also have a job and I do Xc off to the side. I scored really good on my essay for the SAT. Also, I have 110 hours of community service. I’ve taken 6 Ap classes and the rest honors.

Although your GPA is on target, your SAT score is very low for UCSD. Plans to retake? Consider trying the ACT?

Yeah I also recommend taking the ACT, I found it a lot easier than the sat. If you can get at least a 30, you should have a really good shot at making ucsd. I got in last year with a pretty low gpa, but a really good act score. message me if you have any other questions
