(I am retaking it tomorrow and studied on it planning on hitting 1800-1900)
Cumulative GPA 9-11 Grade: 91.9792

Captain of Math Team
Secretary of National Honor Society
President of Jazz Band
Spanish Honor Society
Tri-M
Looks decent, but it’s important to note that SB cares a lot about SAT. You have a great course load, and good ECs.
GPA is just slightly below average.
Average two part for SB is ~1250, so I would recommend having a ~1300/1600 to be safe.
Thanks! How come people I know got into stony brook with averages of like 80 range? So you think I can get in if my SAT essay was higher and a phenomenal essay?
@Enrique21 I’d say you have a pretty good chance, you are at the 75th percentile for GPA and I believe that your SAT is a bit above average as well. Make sure you get solid recommendations and write a solid essay and you should be good.
