As an update, I got denied last year.

I’m gonna try again this year, and I think I’ll have a better chance since they’ll look at my high school/ sat’s less, and I have better college grades now than before. My GPA after the first year is a 3.94 (as opposed to the 3.8 I applied with first quarter)! So I’m hoping for the best. What do you guys think, do I have a pretty good chance now? Being denied killed me last year, since this is definitely my dream school. I also think I can write a better essay now, since I’ve done more research into Brown.

Would you guys still recommend retaking the SAT’s even though I’m now applying for junior status? Do they look favorably on applicants who apply again after getting rejected and improving their college grades, or would they likely just deny me again?
