Do you think that I've a decent chance on getting into Udub at ED in the computer science major? What do you recommend? I think I will get a score, better than 2000, from May SAT.

Thanks.

The UW creams its pants for international students. The point is, at the least, you’ll get in, at most, you’ll get a full ride. However, make sure to state in your application (unless you already sent it in) why you would contribute to the university community, as well as to the surrounding area. That being said, you definitely have a shot at getting in, and your first few quarters in Comp. Sci. should be a breeze. Good luck!

I am glad to hear that. I’ve checked CollegeSearch of CollegeBoard and I couldn’t see a ED/EA deadline. Is ED available for Udub?

What does that GPA translate to on the 4.0 scale? If it’s lower than a 3.3, I doubt you have a big chance. Good luck though.

pretty outstanding stuff in one area. i think you have a good shot.

Turkey is using a system over 100 and 85-100 is considered 5/5, 70-85 4/5, 55-70 3/5 and so on. I think that it is not possible for me to translate my GPA to 4.0 scale correctly because when it is converted, it is interpreted in a wrong way. 70/100 GPA is a mediocre or even over mediocre score for my country and even my school which is maybe the hardest school in my city and certainly one of the hardest schools in my country.

I think my school will state these at my application.

Thank you, I hope so. :)

Oh, I see. You certainly have a very big resume. Good luck!
