Do I have a god chance?

Hi guys, I apologize if this type of thread had been posted before, however after reading through a few similar threads I feel that my situation is a little different.
I want to have a chance to get into Harvard or any Ivy League University. I live in a very small town (3000 people) in Alaska, in my town there's only one high school and as you can imagine, very limited resources. My GPA is 4.0, and since my high school offers no honours or AP classes I am self studying them (5) and hoping I can get some good marks. I always take the most difficult courses available to me.

Right now I am starting Gr. 11 and next semester I'll be taking Calculus. My high school also doesn't have much extracurricular activities, I've founded a student council, a science research group, a CS activity group, and student-tutoring. I am involved in Rotary Interact and Me to We, and unfortunately this is it. Like I've mentioned both my community and high school have limited resources. After reading some similar threads here I feel a little overwhelmed since I don't have 20 EC, 40 Awards, 10 APs and Honours, etc. I haven't taken SAT before and I am estimating a score somewhere in the 2100's (hopefully), and perhaps 2300-2400 on my retake in my Gr.12 year.

Please reply as to if I have a chance of acceptance from these prestigious schools and any advice as to somehow ameliorate my future resume would be most welcome.

Thanks.

No one on here has 10 APs LOL. No one has 40 Awards or 20 ECs. There is no magic formula for getting into Harvard. There is no chances either. You can take 3-5 APs and be okay. Don’t over work yourself and join a few clubs and stay dedicated.

to be honest i think you have a better chance than the standard middle class kid in the continental US. You are definitely utilizing your given resources as well as you possibly can, and studying for AP tests without taking the classes definitely takes self-motivation and drive. Also, leadership points for creating those clubs at your school. good luck!

There is no way for anyone to really know what your chances are, as the most competitive schools in the country (Ivies and non Ivies) are reaches for just about everyone.

In your case I wouldn’t worry too much about what you perceive to be a lack of opportunities. The schools you are looking at know what resources are available to you and how you used these resources. As schools seek diversity, being from Alaska could be an advantage, although you will likely be compared to students in your state who are also applying to similar institutions.

For every student in every circumstance, all IVY and most of the top schools should be considered reach schools. Always.

Just a superficial observation: Although you have admirably made the most of your limited resources, it is hard to overlook the typo in your thread question; did you mean god or good? Of course, CC is not your application but it’s never too soon to hone your proofreading skills. Please read this message as sincere and not sarcastic. You want to maximize every opportunity you have and not give anyone in adcom an excuse to toss your app into the waste bin.

@tutordhaus - not true, at least for academically strong recruited athletes.
