If any of you remember me, I was the kid with the high GPA and low SAT scores with high hopes of getting accepted into UGA. As it turns out, I never applied. I just simply procrastinated for too long. Now, having just graduated from high school last week, I now know that I will be attending Northampton Community College in Bethlehem Township, PA this fall. I think I made the right decision because I now have the chance to re-apply to the schools that turned me down (Maryland and Penn State-University Park. I was accepted into Penn State-Altoona, however) and apply to schools where I had little to no chance of acceptance (UNC-Chapel Hill, UVA, USC). Here's some basic info about NCC and what I plan to do there:

-Northampton Community College is a top 50 CC nationally
-I was accepted into their honors program, which requires me to take 12 credit hours of honors courses and maintain at least a 3.5 GPA.
-If I do maintain that 3.5+ GPA, I have a really good chance of joining Phi Theta Kappa.
-I plan on participating in several on-campus activities, including Student Government.
-Since NCC has dorms, I will be staying on campus.
-I am a SMaRT Scholar, which is a scholarship program for select students entering STEM professions.

More info about me:
-HS GPA: 3.8 UW
-SAT: 1560/2400 superscored SAT (CR: 620, M: 440, W: 510)
-Tons of EC's
-Work experience: POS Associate (Cashier) at Kohl's from 10/25/12-Present (Most likely ending between 8/15/13-8/22/13)

Can you see me realistically being accepted into UGA for fall transfer admission?
