Do I have a shot at any of these schools?

Hi everybody, I'm going to be a senior at a private high school this year, and I was wondering if I could get your opinion on my chances at a few schools in particular. I'm a Vietnamese female from right outside of Boston, and I'm thinking of majoring in Communications. =)

Okay, phew. So here's my college list:

Vanderbilt (absolute #1, most likely applying ED)
UNC Chapel Hill (applying EA)
Boston University
Bucknell U
Lehigh
Northeastern
Providence College
Rhodes
Stonehill
Trinity College
Trinity University (San Antonio)
Tufts (maybe EDII)
UT Austin

What do you guys think? Please be totally honest in your opinion. Also, any suggestions regarding other schools that I should consider applying to would be very much welcomed and appreciated!

Just make sure you can apply to UNC EA, if your applying somewhere else ED

yeah, EA at UNC is non-binding, so I think I should be okay. Do you think it's worth applying early to those schools with my stats?

UT Austin is probably a rejection. They have few slots for out of state applicants and your stats have to be high.

hmm.. okay. thanks for your input. how about the other schools? any idea?

ur vietnamese. u'll get in anywhere you want.

in fact you will probably -no, you will definitely get money from all those schools on your list.

not gonna lie, that does make me feel a bit better hahah, but do you really think my being vietnamese is going to better my chances for admission? i mean, i'm sure there are lots of other vietnamese people applying to the same schools.

I'm doubting the vietnamese thing, every vietnamese I kno end up going to prestigious schools. I practically failed life by their standards.

Stonehill should be a safety based just on your numbers. I am less familiar with the others,.

Your a smart person :) you should go for it

thanks =) i appreciate that

I'm pretty sure you'd get into providence, trinity, and BU.

look, you have mostly As, you took hard classes, and you're a URM (vietnamese!!) you'll get in to all these places for sure, i guarantee it. in fact, i would put money on it.

umm just asking to also help me. umm with those stats and instate for UT austin, would the chances be good?
