I find it very hard to concentrate. I usually set my mind to concentrate on my teacher's lecture, but in about 5 minutes later my mind starts to wander off, and when I realize that the teacher is still talking, I pulled my mind back again, losing a portion of a lecture. So I ask the teacher for clarification, two or three times. My math teacher's being annoyed by me. Do I have ADHD?

You really have to discuss this with a professional, over a message board probably won’t work, especially since not many of us are trained to diagnose people.

Best of luck and God bless you! :-)

I agree with lilac. If you are asking if what you are describing happens with ADHD, it does; and if it is ADHD can medications or other treatment help this to improve, they can. I’m not an expert. The diagonosis is made based on many factors. You need to begin by talking to your parents, family physician, or counselor and may need to move on from there possibly to a diagnostician, psychologist or psychiatrist familiar with diagnosing ADHD. Even if you are not diagnosed, if you are having the question it is worthwhile to ask and try and figure it out.
