Do I have any chance at Stanford?

I'm going into my senior year in high school this fall.
I attend BASIS Tucson, a school continually ranked in the top 5 high schools in the country (out of 20,000+) in almost every publication. It is extremely rigorous
I've been there since 6th grade. (It is also a middle school)

Grades: Freshman - 3.6, Sophomore - 3.7, Junior - 4.0, Senior - probably 4.0
SAT: 2080
ACT: 33
APs: World - 3, Euro - 3, Lit - 3, Chem - 5, BC - 5, USH - 5, Biology - 5, Phys C Mech - 5, and Eng Lang - 5

I've been playing guitar since 8th grade. I'm really good at both electric and classical. I have such an enormous passion for guitar and music in general.

I've loved biking all my life, and I'm now an avid road cyclist, often doing 70+ mile rides at a respectable pace. This and guitar/music are my great passions in life.

This is my 3rd summer at my job. I've been an intern here at the local county Tourism office. I do computer stuff, websites, etc. for them. They REALLY like me. I will have spent about 800 work hours here.
I'll get wonderful recommendations from them, as well as several school teachers, guitar teachers, and bike coaches.

I've been a volunteer camp counselour in Oregon twice. It's an absolutely life-changing experience. I am both the sole parent and teacher for seven 6th graders for a week. The social experiences along with the natural beauty of the wild northern Oregon coast have changed me forever.

I have done Race for the Cure twice, as an 8th grader and a freshman. Very good experience.

NHS treasurer. - lots of volunteering included in that.
Comedy Club. - I don't intend to put any emphasis on this.
Recycling club President. - I am very enviromentally conscious and have led park clean-up, tree planting, and conservation initiatives.
Math/Calc tutor both officially and for friends.
I will TA for my math teacher this coming year. I LOVE mathematics and calculus.

I've gotten Distinguished Honor Roll (top 5%) many times. I was also 2011 AP Calculus Student of the year. I took the AP Physics Mechanics Exam on my own without class preparation this year; a friend and I studied outside of class for it.

I want to be an engineer and possibly head into the field of sustainability.

I feel I can convey my life experiences and passions really well through essays.

Do I have any chance at Stanford? How about MIT, Princeton, or Cornell?

Yes to all of the above I’d say.

“I’ve been a volunteer camp counselour in Oregon twice. It’s an absolutely life-changing experience. I am both the sole parent and teacher for seven 6th graders for a week. The social experiences along with the natural beauty of the wild northern Oregon coast have changed me forever.”

If you can bring out this experience in a story format in your essays than it would make you a very lively applicant

You want to study engineering? Not to discourage you but a lot of people who wants to study engineering have very different stats and ecs as compare to you. And don’t you think your SATs are a bit low since you are coming from a very good school?

Anyways best of luck!

I like the comedy club, it gives some light heartedness to an otherwise very serious application.

Sat is too low, and what is your overall u.w g.p.a/rank? I assume they might be too low for stanford. In terms of not reading the description of your ec’s, they are just fairly average. Sorry.
