<p>After the first semester of my Junior year at a well known high school in CT I have
3.15 UW GPA- 2 honors classes
3.25 W GPA
1790(1190) SAT-610 CR, 600 Writing, 580 Math
Many EC's including FBLA(received a medal at this years state competition, DECA, relay for life, homeless shelter involvment, volunteer work at an aquarium for the whole summer and others. </p>

<p>I took the act and havent gotten my scores yet but im certain i did well on them.</p>

<p>If you manage to get your weighted GPA up >= 3.5 and you blow the ACT away you may have a shot at non-engineering admittance. It’d be a pretty good reach though.</p>

<p>I agree Tech is a number driven school, and the gpa you have hurts you. The up shot is you are OOS so you have a better chance with those stats than a kid from VA.</p>
