oo..Thanks! That makes me feel soo mucho better.

and on top of that, your stats are pretty close to mine, except for the tests. and you have to figure that your EC's will help a lot. Just relax

^^
Cohen139, you probably shouldn't tell people that just because they think they will get in, they probably will. BC is a good school, if someone is seriously lacking in their application (not refering the the OP) and still thinks they will get in, chances are they won't. These threads aren't always for reassurance. Some people honestly don't know if they have a realistic chance. I agree that sometimes people yelling "chance me, chance me" is a bit annoying when they have perfects scores, perfect recs, perfect everythings, but if someone is worried that their SAT scores are too low, they have every right to be worried, and every right to ask their peers if they have a shot. Not to be the pessimist in the bunch, but just because you got in with lower scores, doesn't mean everyone will. That said, good luck to the OP and everyone else!

i didnt have lower test scores, nor did i ever say that i did. all i'm saying is that the fact that she knows the dean of minority admissions, and is a minority and has an abundance of EC's i think her chances are better. Yeah, her test scores arent that great. There is no way someone can accurately "chance" somebody. all i meant that without saying it, i think her situation will help her out. will it be enough to overcome her well-below average test scores? who knows. all i know was that when i was in that position i needed reassurance, not pessimism. thanks.

thanks both of you! I really posted this because I thought I had no chance; but who knows?! I have confidence in my application but it's just the test scores! But then again, you are worth more then numbers or stats sooo who knows. Good luck to you guys too! & Thanks again for your opinions; I just appreciate any feedback whatsoever.
