Do I have any chances at all?

<p>Hello, I just got back my sat score report from November sat. Was hoping for at least 1700 got 1580 with 550 math 490 reading and 540 writing. My GPA is 2.8 or 83 avarage. I am not from USA but from Russia. I have participated in 6 clubs in school and was a Vice President of student government club in 11 grade. My parents just like any immigrants are very strict about colleges, they want only good ones. Not like the typical American parents who don't really focuse too much on ranking. I have visited a Rutgers Newark and loved it a lot. Do I have any chances of getting into Rutgers Newark to mager in Buisness Managment? Please be honest. </p>

<p>i would say that your chances are not great, however, there are REALLY REALLY REALLY small number of students who get in to rutgers with similar statistics as yours, but they usually have superior ECs or something big going on.</p>
