Are those good for applying to Howard University or New York University with a 3.0 (weighted) GPA and a 33 on the ACT?

Thanks!

You ACT score is excellent and your EC's are good, but a 3.0 weighted is very low for NYU and Howard.

So you don't think I'll get accepted into either of them???

If you can make up for it in other ways, like a really excellent essay and show your dedication for your EC's, then your chances would definately increase. There's really no way of telling for sure whether someone is going to be accepted or rejected though. Just make your app as strong as possible and make it stand out.

Anyone else?

Use your application (particularly the essay) to show your passion for both your ECs and the schools themselves. GPA is an important factor, but it's not everything. Your ECs look very good, and congratulations on making a 33 on the ACT. That's awesome. :)

Thanks, veghead!
