I have lecture of another class at the same time and I really want to take that class this semester. So I wonder if missing the discussions will be a big problem. Thanks.

Econ 101B is a pretty intensive Macroeconomics course; because discussion is small too, it’s going to be hard to miss every week and still earn a decent grade. If you really want to take Econ 101B, I would suggest signing up for a different course that doesn’t overlap with section.

the discussions are usally 10-15% of your grade, if you miss about half of the discussions your probably gonna get docked atleast 5%, plus it is an intensive course so you wanna be there each week for help on the problem sets and class material
