Do I have to come back to my home country during the summer break?

I was wondering whether or not an international student accepted at an American college is required to go back to his home country for the summer vacation or can he/she stay in the USA?

The answser is no, you don’t have to back to your home country, unless the US visa is expiring.
However if you plan on staying during the summer, you must have funds to cover your stay OR an on-campus job.

Or an authorized off-campus job. :)
