Do I have to take a foreign language in the college of LAS?

I took Spanish in high school all four years but am not going to take the AP exam. Do i have to take Spanish at UIUC in LAS?

I think you need to test out of it if you’re not taking the AP test.

I don’t think you have to take a foreign language if you completed through Spanish 4 at your high school.

First paragraph of the link: “Before graduation, you must satisfactorily complete two years of college study (or four years of high-school courses) in a single non-primary language.”

If you have finished high school level 4 of a foreign language, that means you do not have to take language in LAS.
