I've come across this subject on these threads MANY times. Some have said no, others yes, others have said "it depends". What was your personal experience?

Review questions help but aren’t necessary.

One of the requirements for my AP Lang class was to buy a review book before the year evens started. I never bought it. I never used it. Personally, i find some online sites more helpful.

But since my teacher was actually very good, i feel like i didnt need the extra help from review books. But hey, better safe than sorry right? Might as well get one and just flip through for some practice tests, which will help you a lot with pacing and what not.

No. Honestly, you either know Lang or don’t from the beginning; your writing changes very minimally. It really is just practice on how to exploit the essays on the test.
