<p>You do not need more safeties with that profile. Really good bets: Michigan (kids from my region of Northern Virginia get in every year with lower stats), Hopkins (not many folks from Arkansas apply there and your profile exceeds their medians), and Georgetown (above their profile and will love your political experience). Decent shot–Northwestern, North Carolina( surprisingly tough to get into out of state), and UVA. Tough – the ivies, but they are tough for everyone. If you want a safety and given your love of politics, I would suggest George Washington and especially American University, which has a good school of foreign service and quite likely would give you lots of money.</p>
