Do I need to accept the admission to my CAP school if I already accepted the CAP through UT?

I was accepted into the CAP program for the University of Texas at Austin and I am completing that at UTA.

But before getting the cap agreement from UT, I had already applied to UTA and been accepted. Now, I’m not sure if I still need to accept my admission for UTA if I already accepted the cap because I recently got an email asking me to accept or decline my UTA admission (even though I’ve already accepted and paid the fee for the CAP).

I’ve emailed so many people about this but no one has gotten back to me and I don’t know what to do

on the UTA website it says “This application is incomplete” but then it also says “you have been admitted at UTA as a UT Cap student”

I’m so confused, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Don’t accept the UTA admission. As any other college, when you accept an offer of admission you are obliged to attend there and pursue a degree plan. This isn’t the case for you; you’ll only be there for a year. I’m currently a CAP student at UTA, and from what I recall they eventually listed me as admitted after the CAP agreement was processed.
